In Honor of Stephen Covey

Posted on

If you need to do a better job of prioritizing, it could change your life, folks!

I saw in the news that Stephen Covey, author of 7 Habits of Highly Effective People, passed away on Monday 7/16/12. Above is the time management matrix popularized by his book, where you organize your “to do” list into one of four categories based on how urgent and how important it is. I have used this myself, and recommended it to many clients to help them prioritize the tasks they need to complete. I haven’t personally read the book, but have heard great things. In honor of his simple and practical contributions, I’m sharing this helpful little matrix with you too!
