OMGOMGOMG, These Two in a Miniseries Together

Unfortunately for us stateside, this miniseries will be airing in the UK. Wonder if we’ll get it over in the US too…I’d tell you a synopsis of the plot if it didn’t sound so boring. I suggest we just try to get a hold of it anyway for the fun of seeing Harry Potter grow up to be Jon Hamm (yes, I like him as himself a la SNL or Jimmy Fallon way more than as Don Draper). And while we’re at it, to set the record straight, I actually don’t have crushes on either of them. I just enjoy them both!

Source: dlisted AGAIN. Sorry it’s apparently all I read these days. I mean, I can’t help that it’s great, and you should probably check it out if you’re at least a little crude in your humor. Promise to diversify again soon!

I Don’t Even Watch Awards Shows, But I’ll Probably Watch This One

Saturday Night Live may not be funny anymore, but these two alum are great together! And they’ll be co-hosting the Golden Globes this year, on Sunday Jan 13th.  Which reminds me, didn’t Seth McFarlane get tapped to host the Oscars? I don’t know if he is as funny as his characters, but looks like I’ll be checking out some awards shows this year! This also reminds me I still need to check out Tina Fey’s book from a few years ago *moves to top of reading list*…

What in the Random Friendship Heck?

So apparently Tony Danza and Tupac were pen pals when Tupac was in prison in the 90s…

Ok, and while I’m on the subject of Tony Danza, pretty much anytime I hear his name I laugh to myself because I remember an ex of mine who used to think Elton John sang “Hold me closer, Tony Danza.” Yep, still laughing at that.

Rainn Wilson Breaks It Down For Us

Haha, a little damper for your lofty hopes and dreams this Friday ;).

Bonus: Sharing of this video (a partner project between College Humor and Malaria No More) raises awareness of the plight of those living in areas in which malaria is an epidemic. So you are spreading some good in watching it too :).

Speaking of Big Dudes…

… the ever-lovable Tom Hanks gives a funny eulogy at Michael Clarke Duncan’s funeral earlier this week. Killer impersonation by the way; a great way to remember someone is with laughs!

Today I Learned: Mia Farrow and Woody Allen’s Son is an Interesting Genius

Posted on

inherited more of his mother’s looks, his father’s genius

This is Ronan Farrow. I was reading his scathing Father’s Day tweet on dlisted and discovered that he graduated college at 15, went on to attend Yale Law School that same year, was a Rhodes Scholar, and is currently, at 24, Special Adviser to the Secretary of State and Director of the State Department’s Global Youth Issues office. He is also a humanitarian and journalist. Dude, you’re making the rest of us look bad :P.
